Constance Ephélia Seychelles “Come as a guest, leave as a friend.” This is Constance’s Hotels & Resorts motto, and trust us when we say it is true.
For our first time visiting Seychelles, we partnered up with one of the most authentic luxury hotels & resorts in the Indian Ocean. We chose Mahé as the first island to see and stayed at the gorgeous Constance Ephélia for three nights.
About The Resort
Constance Ephélia is situated on two of the most beautiful beaches in Mahé. It has 120 hectares of pure lush nature, overlooking the marine national park of Port Launay.
The Resort has 42 Tropical Garden View Rooms, 184 Junior Suites, 40 Senior Suites, 22 Family Villas, 16 Beach Villas, 8 Hillside Villas, and the Presidential Villa.
The resort has five restaurants, five outdoor pools, a world-class Spa that is the largest in the Indian Ocean and uses only natural ingredients, a fitness facility, and everything else you could want to have in paradise.
Bikes are available for guests to rent if they want to ride them to explore the resort. There’s also a buggy service which goes out every 15 minutes.
Suites and Villas
The resort is divided into two sides: the South side, where you have garden rooms and junior suites, and the North side, where you can find the villas.
We stayed on the North side of the Beach Villa with a private pool, which we 100% recommend. These villas can be of one or two bedrooms. It has a beautiful outdoor living room, a spacious closet, a bathtub with a garden view, and a bedroom facing the beach.
One of their best villas is the Hillside Villa which it’s built in granite rocks and counts with a gorgeous infinity swimming pool. It’s completely private, with a magnificent ocean view and natural beauty. Check the picture of the Hillside Villa below.
Fine Dining
As mentioned above, Constance Ephélia Seychelles has a total of 5 restaurants: one buffet and four a la carte restaurants, as of August 2021. That will be changed in September 2021, and all the restaurants will be à la Carte.
- Corossol– main buffet restaurant that offers breakfast and dinner. As of September 2021, there won’t be buffet services anymore. Instead, all restaurants will be a La Carte, as mentioned previously.
- Seselwa “Cuisine des Illes” – is an all-day à la carte restaurant facing the gorgeous North Beach.
- Helios – it’s a casual chic restaurant offering Mediterranean cuisine with influences from the south of France, Italy, Spain, Morocco, and Lebanon, and it is located on the South Beach.
- Adam and Eve offer delicious Asian specialties in the evening with a local flair. It’s focused on Malay, Indonesian, and Singapore cuisines.
- Cyann offers signature dishes that combine French culinary precision with local and Asian influences. This is the only restaurant not included in the entire board meal plan. The resort gives 400 SRC credit per person to enjoy this restaurant.

Wine Tasting Experience
We had a fantastic wine tasting experience with the Somellier Sreejith. We recommend this activity for couples, friends, and families. We had a lot of fun and learned a lot from our experience.
Also, Constance Ephélia has more than 1200 different wine labels making the resort the 2nd largest in terms of wide variety in the Indian ocean.
Feeding the giant Tortoises at Constance Ephélia
One of the activities we liked the most was feeding the giant tortoises. They do it once a day with guests, and you have the opportunity to be there with the tortoises. It’s incredible!!
We were able to feed Dusty, who is 110 years old (in 2021), and he is still young as these tortoises can live up to 250 years. He weighs 250kg – 550lbs! Can you believe it?
Final Thoughts
We loved our stay at Constance Ephélia Seychelles and recommended it. We honestly arrived as guests and left as friends. Everyone was terrific, and they did everything in their power so we could have a memorable stay. They did great work!
