One of the most beautiful cities in the world, known for the Christ the Redeemer, the beautiful Sugar Loaf Mountain on the horizon, a 40°C hot sun that almost melts you, lovely people, and gorgeous beaches make Rio de Janeiro the perfect place for a private boat tour.
In January 2021, we decided to take “social distance” to the next level by doing a boat ride for the day, and it was a fantastic experience!!! We’ll share here all you need to know to enjoy Rio de Janeiro the best way.
Before you ride
First of all, there’s no experience required as you won’t be piloting the boat. Your private Boat Tour in Rio de Janeiro – Brazil, will come with a keeper so you can enjoy your day and not worry about anything else.
You can bring your food and drinks, which is fantastic. Also, the company we chose offers someone to prepare a bbq for you in the best Brazilian style (Don’t forget you need to bring the food).

Our tour took off from Marina da Gloria, one of the most famous Marinas in Rio.
It’s a whole day tour, from 10 am to 5 pm, and after visiting a few places, the skipper will anchor the boat close to a beach so you can enjoy the day there and eat some fantastic Brazilian bbq.

We paid a total of R$2.700,00 (Brazilian currency), which equals 419€ or 500USD.
You can bring up to 10 people for the ride, and if you all share the total amount, the price isn’t bad!
