The village is well known for its natural beauty and among hiking lovers. It is a place with incredible and instagrammable spots.
We took a plane from Portugal to Italy, and from there, we drove to Switzerland. It took us around 5 hours to go from Milano to our first destination. We not only moved to our goal but also took what they call a ‘transport train.’ Transport trains are used when there are no roads connecting the places. You place your car inside the transport train while it goes for around 20 minutes. You then will have arrived at your destination.

The Hotel Belvedere Grindelwald has incredible views from every room. You will be able to enjoy exquisite dining at their restaurant. Also, have a relaxing time in the leisure area with indoor and outdoor pools and jacuzzis—nothing like a good dip and a beautiful view.
The village is within a 2 min walking distance from the hotel. There you will be able to find some restaurants with local cuisine. It’s great to go on a stroll, have a beer, admire the views and take some good pictures.
Another great feature of the region is for hikers. You can experience the Alps Bernide Schilthornes, Schilthorn First and Männlichen. These places are considered one of the most well-signposted in the world, in Winter or Summer.
