On my last trip to California in January 2020, I used JSX ( Flying with JSX Private Jet ) services for the first time. Here I’m going to share my first impressions of the company.
About JSX Private Jet
JSX was founded in 2016, and it is a hop-on jet service that’s faster on the ground, more comfortable in the air, and competitively priced, with flights starting from USD 89 each way.
Advantages
The most significant advantages of flying with JSX are:

My Experience
As I’m currently living in Canada and JSX only operates in the U.S, I drove from Whistler to Seattle to pick up the plane at the Boeing Field Airport.
It’s a four-and-a-half-hour drive, and we decided to cross the border at Peace Arch, which had the shortest waiting time on that day (around 10 minutes).
If you’re not either a Canadian or an American citizen, you will need to stop at the border, get out of your car and talk to a border officer. Inside the building, you must pay a CAD 6.00 fee per person. After doing that, you’re free to enter the U.S, and they will give you a white paper valid for six months that allows you to cross the border again without needing to go outside the car.
After crossing the border, we proceeded to Boeing Field Airport, where the JSX terminal is located.
No lines, no long waits, and an easy check-in is what you can find when you enter the terminal. I checked in my bags and then headed to JSX’s great lounge, where you can find a Starbucks coffee machine, a few beverages and snacks, and complimentary WiFi. Remember, no TSA! You check in and relax in the lounge.
Twenty minutes later, we were boarding our flight, and it only took us less than 6 minutes to do. JSX jets have 30 seats, making the boarding and unboarding extremely quick!
Once you’re all set in the plane, the stewardess approaches you to ask what type of beverage you prefer. Find below the options we had, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
After taking off, it’s time to relax.
Forget about limited space! All seats provided are business class legroom size. The best seats are the first ones (1A 1B 1C) and the emergency exit ones (7A 7B 7C) which we were lucky enough to get on both our flights with JSX.
We had a smooth and fast flight to Oakland, our first stop. From there, we picked up our bags and checked in again to go to our final destination, Burbank, California.
When you land, you don’t need to go anywhere to pick up your bags; they will be delivered at the main lounge entrance around 5-10 minutes after leaving the plane.
In conclusion, flying with JSX Private Jet…
Flying with JSX was a great experience, and I can’t wait to fly with them again. Maybe Vegas next time? Not a bad idea, right?
Last but not least, I would like to thank our good friend and JSX pilot @zachcox7 for making this trip so smooth.
Have you flown with JSX yet? Let me know your experience and if you have any questions in the comments below.
