365 opportunities to be a better version of you
This new year is the first one I didn’t make resolutions to. What does that mean? Am I not motivated enough for the new year? I think it’s the opposite of this.
The truth is that a lot of things that I’ve been doing in the past, I plan to continue doing the. I have resolutions for my life but didn’t plan to achieve them in just one year. I believe it’s essential to keep making plans, setting goals throughout the year, and adapting. Sometimes things you think you wouldn’t be able to achieve change and vice-versa.
The new year truly represents 365 new opportunities to be a better version of yourself.
It’s almost like you could forget what you’ve done in the past and look into the present and future. You have 365 opportunities to make it suitable for yourself, grow and be grateful, love others more and learn how to love yourself more.
But what self-love truly means? For me, it means that you accept yourself the way you are. We constantly try to change ourselves; I don’t think that is a problem. The problem is when you stop being grateful for what you already are.
Do you want a good example?
Instead of just thinking, ‘I want to have a better body,’ ‘I want to be thinner or whatever we usually think about, let’s be grateful for how our bodies look now; if it weren’t for our bodies, you wouldn’t be reading this, I wouldn’t be writing this, and we wouldn’t be here.
We all should have goals in our lives, and I guarantee it’s easier to achieve our goals when we are at peace with ourselves. The most crucial workout we can do is to train our minds and make them more robust every day more and more. Nowadays, with social media and the idea of a perfect life, we live in a world where people like to compare themselves to others; let’s step away from that and be the energy we want to attract.
