Easy Cheese Pie Recipe. What’s up, guys, Fred Phillipe here. I’m invading Luana’s Blog for a kickass cheese pie recipe that is super easy to prepare and delicious.
Are you ready? So let’s get this started with the ingredients. All you need is (besides love):
Dough:
- Whole flour (or regular) – 14 tablespoon
- Butter – 1 tablespoon
- Salt – 1/2 tablespoon
- Cashew milk (or regular) – 100ml
Filling:
- Cheese – 400gr (I used lactose free)
- Cashew milk (or regular) – 200ml
- Eggs – 4 Units
Preparing the dough:
Mix the flour, butter and the salt with your hands in a bowl. Add the milk as you mix it and them keep mixing until you get all the ingredients homogeneous. After you prepared the dough, make a thin layer in a small round cake pan covering the bottom and up to the sides. You can’t be lazy on this part. keep mixing until you get a perfect dough.
Preparing the filling:
For the filling, mix the cheese, milk and eggs all together in a blender until you get a thick cream. In this part you will be looking at a homogenic thick cream. When you get it done, fill up the cake pan with the cream (previously covered with the dough lol).
After that you have the option of either covering the cream with the rest of the dough or not. Both ways are really good. If you don’t cover it, the cream will have a crispy aspect on top. I chose to cover it so I could do a some kind of ‘art’ on it. Not my best one though.
Grand finale
Now it’s time to put the cheese pot inside the oven (pre heated at 420F) for 30-40 minutes and Voilà! Every oven is a bit different so always keep an eye on it during the baking process.
