Our Homemade Granola Recipe. WHAT IS UP, GUYS! Fred Phillipe here again for one more easy, tasty and healthy recipe. Can you believe that? Luana has been excellent, letting me write some foodie stuff on her sweet blog.
Well, well, Let’s get this recipe started?
For this homemade granola, all you need (besides love) is:
- Oats – 4 cups/230gr
- Nuts – 1cup/110gr
- Coconut Oil – 4tbsp FULL
- Honey – 2tbsp
How to prepare:
Pre-heat the oven to 350F. Put all the ingredients in a medium bowl and mix them all. Make sure to mix so the coconut oil evenly coats everything. Wow. I can already smell the sweet taste of this Homemade Granola Recipe.
Homemade Granola Recipe – Details
Cover a regular baking tray with aluminum foil or parchment paper and spread a little coconut oil on it.
Spread the ingredients on the baking tray evenly (it should be about 1cm high in thickness). Use your hands to ‘compress’ the ingredients on the tray.
Put it in the oven for 20 minutes at 350F and then switch your oven to Broil (Low) for 2 minutes – this way, the granola will get toasted on top as well. Be careful during this process not to burn your granola – keep an eye on it and keep the oven door slightly open. Two minutes on low is usually enough for me.
Homemade Granola Recipe – Grand Finale
Now, this is a crucial step to getting crunchy homemade granola. After the two minutes with the broil on low, take the granola out of the oven and LET IT COOL DOWN. Please don’t touch the granola until it is entirely relaxed (approx. 40min-60min).
That is it. Super simple and super tasteful. What I love about this recipe is that you can change anything and add more ingredients to your homemade granola. Different nuts, shredded coconut, raisins, etc…
Make this Homemade Granola Recipe your way. Luana and I love Cashew milk, Strawberries, and Chia. How do you like yours?
