My mom and dad always told me to look on the bright side of a situation, whichever that is. Due to the current circumstances of the COVID-19, I started to think: what’s the good side of this one? Staying Positive During Quarantine.

Our trips were canceled, meetings were canceled, gyms were closed… but how far in life do these things matter?

I’ll be honest here when the boom of Coronavirus first started, I had no clue how big it would become; I had two trips scheduled, and on one of them, I was going to see my dad, who I hadn’t seen in 3 years! Of course, I was upset about it. It’s normal.

Now, that being said, let’s start focusing on the bright side of the situation.

My point here is that we are all in such a hurry, trying to live our best lives, that I honestly think we don’t spend enough time getting to know ourselves.

It’s the first time in my life that I see everyone going through the same thing simultaneously. We all have empathized with someone going through a difficult moment before, but for the first time, I feel we are all in the same boat!

I feel that people are getting closer and trying to help each other more, which in my opinion, is a perfect thing coming out of a bad one!

Let’s stay productive. Staying Positive During Quarantine

I hear a lot of people saying they get bored of staying home but let’s use this time to take a moment to reorganize our lives, maybe learn a new thing on Youtube, or you know, that old book sitting on your desk? Perhaps this is the right time to read it! Let’s spend some quality time with our family or make that phone call we have postponed for a while.

How about that hobby you always said you didn’t have time for? Who knows, that can become your job in the future, or maybe this is just the right time to get good at it. It’s never too late! As long as we are breathing, there’s always hope.

If you feel you are strong enough to pass through this moment without a problem, try to find ways to help someone else with your strength. Maybe grocery shop for the elders or, again, a phone call to that someone in need.

I hope this coronavirus thing ends soon but until then, let’s review our priorities, what’s essential in life, what matters and is primarily important, and let’s stick with these for the rest of our lives.

Before I finish this post, I propose we do one thing daily for the rest of this quarantine (ideally for the rest of our lives). Take a few minutes of your day to think about three things that you’re grateful for in your life. This particular habit has excellent results!

It would be like this:

I’m grateful for

1- ____________________________________________________________________________

2- ____________________________________________________________________________

3- ____________________________________________________________________________

I hope this helps you guys feel better.

Don’t forget we are all in this together!
