In June 2022, we made our first trip to Croatia. We visited the city of Dubrovnik and stayed at the Rixos Premium Dubrovnik resort – a great hotel with a spectacular view.
It was our first time in Dubrovnik, and we fell in love with the place!

About Dubrovnik – Croatia
In case you’ve never heard of it, this is a city located on the coast of Croatia, more specifically in the extreme south of Dalmatia, at the tip of the eponymous isthmus.
It is one of the most popular tourist destinations on the Adriatic Sea and the most important city in the county of Dubrovnik-Neretva.
The waters are crystal clear, and from our hotel, we had direct access to the sea.
About the Rixos Premium Dubrovnik resort
The resort offers an indoor and outdoor pool, spa, a seaside terrace with cabanas and sunbeds, 3 restaurants including a buffet, teppanyaki, and seafood by the coast, a pool bar, sports bar, and lounge bar.
Unlike other Rixos we have visited, this one does not have an all inclusive system.
An interesting point of this hotel’s main restaurant is that the dinner menu has different themes each day. For example, when we arrived, it was Indian night with some of the best dishes from Indian cuisine. The next day, it was sushi day. An excellent experience for those who like to have gastronomic experiences while traveling.
Rixos Dubrovnik’s location is also very good. To get to the city center, known as “OldTown,” we took a walk along the coast that lasted between 15 to 20 minutes. The view is incredible, and you can take some fantastic pictures along the way.
The most famous street in the center is Stradun street, a cute place with several instagrammable spots. In the center, we found a Christmas items store. As we are both passionate about Christmas, we couldn’t resist getting a little token for our Christmas later this year.
We were completely blown away by Dubrovnik, and the view from the room at @rixospremiumdubrovnik is simply spectacular.
After just a few days in this beautiful city, we are already planning to return. Next time we hope to stay longer in Dubrovnik and get the opportunity to know other cities in Croatia.
